This set is from the New Annual Catalog which will be available for purchase starting June 4, 2019, this is Sailing Home Bundle including a stamp set, coordinating Dies, Designer Series Paper and embellishments including Sail Away Trinkets and Bakers Twine in Night of Navy and Sahara Sand. The Happy Father’s Day sentiment comes from the Well Said stamp set in the Occasions Catalog which is now current.

Instructions:

Card base 6″ x 9″ piece of whisper white card stock. Pencil a line 2 “wide down the long side of the card base. Score up to but not past the pencil line at the 1″,2″, 3 1/2 ” 5″ and 7 ” ( you will be scoring from the right side to the 2 ” pencil mark). Now from the left side to the pencil mark score at the 4 1/2 “.

Now cut your Designer Series Paper one piece for the left side measuring 4 1/2″ x 2″ and one for the front panel 3 7/8 “x 7/8”.

I then used two pieces of Balmy Blue paper measuring 3 7/8″ x 1 7/16″ the second 3 7/8″ x 1 7/8″, I then gently tore the top edge of each piece to create a wave-like pattern, now take an additional scrap piece any size will do tear at the top to give you the image of waves I then used Craft White ink and Balmy Blue and a sponge daubers, sponged each piece to create the illusion of water and waves. ( I added a touch of Wink of Stella to create a look of wave crest)

Stamp the Lighthouse image using Crumb Cake ink, then stamp the Sailboats in Night of Navy ink. (I stamped 2 large sailboats and three small as well as the sentiment for the gift box) using Memento ink I stamped the Compass. Using the coordinating dies then cut out your images, the 1″ circle punch coordinates with the Compass.

Using a scrap piece of crumb cake I stamped the sentiment Happy Father’s Day than using the Label dies that coordinates with the Sailing Away Bundle I cut out the sentiment using Night Of Navy ink and the Seagull stamp I stamped a few seagulls around the sentiment for some interest. Glue all your pieces of paper down and then added the Lighthouse and the Boats using dimensionals, using the coordinating twine wrap it around the left side of the card base tie a knot and attach to glued dot to the back to keep it in place. I added the sentiment using dimensionals then added a trinket using a glue dot.

To create this cute gift card box or special little something I used the pizza boxes cover the top with a 3 3/8 ” square of Designer Series Paper, I added the Sailboat with dimensionals and glued the Compass down.

Now I took the Smallest of the Stitch Rectangle Dies and cut out a piece of the navy and white striped Designer Series Paper to add some interest to the back of the sentiment. I attached the stamped sentiment onto the Designer Series Paper using mini dimensional’s then glued the back of the Designer Series Paper to the box.

Using the die that looks like a rope and Night of Navy card stock I cut three pieces then it glued it around the center of the edge of the box, your box is complete.
