Today’s projects were created with a Whale of a Time Suite. Everything in this suite is about the ocean reminding me of summertime fun, a great bundle with a photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Whale Builder Punch, Whale of a Time 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper, beautiful Pool Party Sheer Ribbon, as well as finishing touch of aquatic colored  Whale of a Time sequins.

I created the slider card and treat box, you could easily slide a gift card behind the treats in the box, and who doesn’t love an interactive card.



Whale of a Time Treat Box and Card

The card base;

• Pool Party card stock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. (2) Whisper White card stock layer measuring 5 1/4“ x 4 1/8“. •         Whale of a time designer series paper measuring 5“ x 4“.
• An additional piece of scrap Whisper White card stock for stamping the whale

Instructions:

Stamp the Sentiment ” hope all your birthday fishes come true” on the right upper side of the designer series paper, then using Bermuda Bay ink and the fish image, stamp a few fishes across the top section of the designer series paper. Now glue your designer series paper onto your Whisper White card stock layer, then using the Classic Label punch, punch a straight line this will create space for the mechanism for your whale to move. (you could also use any straight die that could create the same opening i.e. the strap from All Dressed Up Dies) .

Treat box:

• Pool party card stock measuring 11“ x 6 1/2“.
• Pool party card stock measuring 11“ x 6 1/2“.
• An additional piece of Pool Party card stock for back of threat box measuring 5 1/8“ x 3“.
• Score the long side at 3”, 5”, 8”, and 10”. score short side at 3 inches
• Score short side at 3″.
• Whale of a Time designer series paper (2) 2 3/4” 2 3/4”, (2) 1 3/4”x 2 3/4”, (1) 5“ x 37/8”.

After you have scored on all your score lines use your bone folder to make crisp fold lines. Then cut away the smallest tab, then cut up the vertical score line to the first horizontal scoreline. Now add some tearing tape to the tabs and assemble your box. Next, you will add your designer series paper to the outside of the box. Now glue your piece of designer series paper onto the extra piece of card stock, glue to the back of the inside of your box, your box is now complete.
